Revised Equestrian was created for horse owners who know there is more to wellness than what can be seen on the surface.

The name "revised" equestrian came about long after the start of our journey.   What started as a simple mission to help horses feel and perform better has grown into a mission far beyond that...

How it began...

Hi, I’m Miranda Redig, founder of Revised Equestrian.

Like many horse-crazy kids, my life has always revolved around horses. But everything changed when I got a highly self-destructive Thoroughbred mare who forced me to begin looking beyond traditional approaches to care and rehabilitation.

What started as necessity became a calling.

Through years of studying acupressure, energetic bodywork, rehabilitation, and the deeper connections between horses and humans, I discovered something far greater than techniques alone. Horses weren’t just teaching me how to help them physically — they were teaching me about intuition, honesty, healing, and transformation.

Over time, that path led me to study Integrated Equine Therapies and eventually begin working with horses professionally as a bodyworker. What began quietly within my own barn grew organically through the horses themselves, with each one continuing to deepen my understanding of what’s possible when we truly listen.

Today, Revised Equestrian exists as more than a business. It’s a reflection of the revisions we all experience through the horse.

I believe horses have an incredible ability to mirror us, guide us, and help us reconnect with ourselves in ways that extend far beyond riding or performance. My work is centered around supporting the horse first, while also honoring the profound impact they have on the humans who love them.

If we have eyes willing to see and hearts willing to listen, horses can teach us how to truly thrive.

IET gave structure to my foundation.  By applying Tom's method to the core modalities I already had, I am able to efficiently create lasting change in the horses I'm called to help. IET is at the center of what I now do, with an emphasis on creating lasting change in as few sessions as possible for the sake of both the horse and the owner.

“I don’t know what you did with ‘River’ during his session, but the difference afterward was incredible. While working him in the round pen, the muscles along both sides of his spine were rolling like waves from shoulder to hip. I had never seen him move that relaxed and supple before. It was a first for him.”
